Synopsis

The opening of the last in this first series finds a guilt-ridden Jack on the outskirts of Dublin where he meets a girl from the travelling community who might have witnessed her mother’s murderer. The Irish Guards, prejudiced against the Travellers and their rival clans, are only barely interested. Jack takes up their cause. The answers seem to lie in the little girl. But she remains silent. What is she hiding? Did she identify the murderer? Is her life in danger? Jack’s investigations lead him into a dangerous world of blood feuds and drug trafficking.
